Remains of today

The moon is a thin slither in the darkening sky, hanging there by Venus. Lovely! There's some real left of field jazz on the radio and it suits my mood.
My pupils (how weird that sounds) at the music school took their exams Saturday, and all got over 90% except one, who got 80%. The manager said "well done" to me. So that's good. . and my new Sunday night piano playing job went well. It's like I'm only making small steps, but all in the right direction. I've got another project hatching, that I'll tell you about soon, if it comes off. It's a way of addressing a balance, and that's all I'll say for the moment.

I've just finished reading Remains Of The Day. It's a good book, though not exactly an exciting page turner, more a gentle, thought provoking tome. It was made into a movie, I might seek it out now I've read the book. Have you seen it?

Someone has asked me to play a Led Zeppelin song at a function I'm playing at Saturday. I downloaded the music today and it's nine bloody pages long! Gah! I should charge more for prog rock. It's karma because I eat Robert Plant's tomatoes at that recent after gig party I told you about, in the weblog when it was elsewhere . . remember?

More stars appearing now. . it's a lovely night.

Um, no. Looking at the links it must be spam. But hey, it's the first spammer here so I'll leave him be.
