Wrekin & Wolvo

A bumper photo post! All about my day. There's me look, up the Wrekin, a big hill in Shropshire. I walked up listening to Jehovakill by Julian Cope, who was 50 yesterday (I'm told it's the best album to walk up the Wrekin to). It's a steep hill, and it takes a bit of stamina to get to the top. I'd like to say I ran up. . but I struggled and at one point thought I was going to die. I didn't.
And there's me at the very top. I was the highest person in the West Midlands just at that moment. Yay for me!

And then I walked up town. Here's some graffiti.

And here's me in the mirror by the subway.

Subway graffiti.

The above building is quite well known in Chapel Ash. And some more graffiti. .

Right, the picture below is good. I've uploaded a large image to give you some idea of where I live. That's Queens Square, the center of Wolverhampton. Goths assemble there and there's a statue of Prince Albert on his horse. On Friday nights the girls out on the town climb up the statue and rub the horses balls to ensure them 'good luck' out on the pull that evening. Tarts.
Anyway, see that Church right in the middle of the photo? That's Chapel Ash. It's just the other side of the ring road, and it takes me seventeen minutes to walk from my place to Queens Square. That's why I love living where I live.

The Chapel Ash Island sign.
