From the morning . . part two

Andy Gill wrote a great piece in today's Independent about the state of pop music, if you click his name there you should get to the article. I hope. . anyway, it's a dilly.
I've had a lovely day. Wanna hear about it?
First though, some Wrekin pictures from last week. Here's the top on the hill, looking tward Caer Caradoc.

And this is looking toward the Long Mynd.

People atop the Wrekin. The white marker on the left marks the topest bit.
I'm spending more and more time in Shropsire these days, because it's just so beautiful out there and I've got the time, so why spend it indoors when I've got two legs, a van and a well packed ipod?
Today I went to Mitchell's Fold Stone circle and it was fabulous. The wind blew across the valley and although I was dry, a rainbow kept re-appearing as the sun darted out from behind clouds and the rain poured heavy in a heavy curtain miles away.

The stone in the picture is Medgel, the witch stone, a stone of myths and great mystery. I know her well, but hadn't seen her since the summer solstice, a night of druids and fluids.

On the way to Mitchell's Fold I took a picture of a building that's always intruiged me. A tin Church. Made of tin!

I'd post more but this blogger thing is playing up. More soon!

I'm back! Then I went to Shrewsbury and isn't it quaint? Here's some phone photies of quaint Shrewsbury and my coffee and my chicken and pepper panini.

So how's that for a bumper photo post then? The rest of the day was spent reading, then I played piano for an hour and did a bit of teaching (home visits). And here's me back and all relaxed. I think I'll do another update soon. .
