I haven't visited Tony Papard's weblog for a while (link on the right), but I had a read the other day and was interested to see he's been talking to someone who has been 'channeling' Princess Diana.
It's easy to scoff at this sort of thing, and although I don't believe in spiritualism, I'm not going to scoff. As I've said before, even Conan Doyle believed in it, and he wrote the Sherlock Holmes books, so that's him a clever bloke.
I often wonder though, if belief in contact with the dead is some kind of reaction to the grieving process. Conan Doyle lost his son if I recall. .
And another thing. Why do the voices from the other side often warn about future events? Does that mean that when you die, in the afterlife, you also have the power of seeing the future? Perhaps you get X ray eyes too. .
I've started scoffing. Sorry.
Anyway, people are free to believe what the want, and as long as it harms none, good on 'em.
