So, I'm going to do a picture post to show him what he's got to look forward to.
Wish I was going!
Sooo, here's some land's end stuff from a couple of years back on one of my 'fall off the map' excursions.

Me at the Merry Maidens stone circle.

Me in the fougoo of Carn Euny, ancient village.

Sunset at Boscawen Un Stone circle, one of my favourite circles ever, and I've been to over a hundred, so it's doing well.

The most famous holed stone in the UK. The fantastic Men An Tol.

Merry Maidens again.

Lanyon Quoit.

Me at Lanyon.

Merry Maidens. It's the best preserved circle in Cornwall.

Bouleigh Fougoo. A place of great mystery. . . you have to book an appointment as it's in someone's back garden.
And of course, an early etching of the great Boscawen Un circle has been on the front page of my weblog for a few years now, (on the right up the top there, see?) . with its distinctive, leaning, central stone.
Lands End is steeped in mystical mysteries and megalithic treasures. I hope to go back soon, but Mark has promised me some phone pictures, so that'll do fer now.
