Recession this, credit crunch that, are you worried?
Years ago we only bought what we could afford, people my parents age would spend the first few years of their married life sitting on deckchairs because they couldn't afford furniture, (or worse yet, living with their parents!). Now people buy things they think they deserve with money they haven't got, and it's been going on years and years.
In this country, we are such snobs. It's all about keeping up with the Jones'. I often veer towards it myself, I think 'should I have a bigger house, to show the world how successful I am?". Yet I have everything I need, a nice flat, a reliable vehicle, a nice lifestyle . . so why worry how many bedrooms I've got, or how old my car is?
It's conditioning, isn't it? It's being bought up in a poshish village, and all that.
I know one chap who lives with a woman who wants everything. The best of whatever's on sale. I think life for him must be hell because he works all hours so she can buy £400 shower curtains, whereas I know, if you angle the shower head right, you should even need a shower curtain. Even a £5 one.

I'm going to do some promotion stuff for my music lessons, things in the local paper etc . . and I'm a bit worried people might google me and find my blog and it may affect my business, so I think I'll make my weblog private soon.
I'll also be able to have a proper moan about customers the way I used to. I'm not as 'free' on here as I used to be, I'm conscious of the fact my weblog is just a click away ...
I'm looking into changing the settings. . I'll let you know.

You're still number one on a google search of Suave Harv, it also comes with a handy link to your new site ;)
