There's something quite wonderful about a view uncluttered by human intervention. You kinda know that if you stood in that spot a few thousand years ago not much would be different. You're seeing things as the ancients did.
I took this a few weeks ago looking towards North Wales. I think one of those mountains is Snowdon.
This spot is only a two and a half hour drive from here. I stopped here on a Monday afternoon with not a soul about. I'd got a take-away coffee from a petrol station (isn't it great they are doing decent coffee these days!), and for half hour or so I stood on the shore sipping and sightseeing and it was bliss.

Lovely picture! Snowdon not Elvis, Been looking at some of the old posts when the music career was brand new. Well done piano man! x
