Here's me yesterday on top of the Wrekin watching the sun go down.
If you click the link for Martin Dale, on the right, he's a talented songwriter who I was once in a band with. I can't remember the name of the song, but there was a line about a "river of gold across the sea, that died on me last night", and I asked him what it meant, and he said it was about the sunset, and how, if you watch the sunset across the sea, you see a river of gold. I thought that was quite lovely, (the arty bastard!)
Sunsets are great. And I don't mean Shakey's backing band, (who were, to be honest, a fine Rockabilly band in their time).
