Balloon arches not included

My week excursion dawn south was a success marred my amazing terrible weather when I got to Dartmoor, resulting in me wussing out of camping for the last two days and being holed up in a pub reading Hound Of The Baskervilles, right next to the hotel where Conan Doyle wrote the great gothic page turner.

But I made it to the Greywethers at least. An hour walk though forest and open moor to an amazing double ring.
Visited the cottage that Thomas Hardy based Tess Of The Durbiville's cottage on, plus other Hardy sites in Dorchester. So it's been a literary trip, as well as a pagan one. Two sunny days spent in Glastonbury at the start of the week empowered me with enough hippy vibes that even the Dartomoor winds didn't dampen my spirit.

Here I am at the Nine Stones of Winterbourne Abbas, just down the road from the big cock man. Blessed be!
